To understand health-related concept comprehensively and measure the effect of mind-body intervention properly, biobehavioral approach or psychoneuroinimunological approach is needed. However, it has turned out to be that this kind of research is not carried out substantively in Korea. Therefore, hereafter researches need to make measurement plans considering biobehavioral approach.
These are a few suggestions from the problems of this research.
1) Like NINR in the States which makes task force team emphasizing biobehavioral approach and support research funds to biobehavioral approach, It should be sponsored more research funds to biobehavioral researches in Korea.
2) Analysis of biobehavioral nursing researches done in Korea is needed.
3) It is needed to train nursing researchers who can accomplish biobehavioral research and secure facilities and equipments for biological measurement in nursing field.
4) In the Medicine field, it uses research nurse to measure behavioral measurement, namely, psychosocial/behavioral measurement among biobehavioral researches. In the nursing field, training or hiring researchers for the biological measurement is needed.
5) It is necessary to try to enhance the reliability and validity of the measurement tool.
6) Through biobehavioral or psychoneuroimmunological research, we should measure the effect of mind-body intervention and prove that not only the physiological nursing intervention but also psychological nursing intervention is directly effective to physiological disease.
7) Especially, we should verify the effect of Korean traditional mind-body intervention and nursing intervention by biobehavioral research or psychoneuro-immunological research.
